About The Position

The Senior Benefits Administrator provides a broad range of analyses in the management of data to support the administration of benefits programs. Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy in Workday and vendors’ systems. Create dashboards and provide metrics. Ensure data integrity and prepare reports and audits to monitor transactions and maintain accuracy in reporting. Promptly resolve any issues related to transactions or data. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and work with various multi-functional HR teams to implement identified changes. Handle established and new data sources and feeds. Partner with vendors to create and run reports and weekly files to meet informational needs and troubleshoot resulting issues. Audit reports and files to identify and correct discrepancies to ensure the transfer of accurate data to benefits vendors and third-party administrators (TPAs) as well as the collection of appropriate payroll deductions. Provide customer support for benefit programs through direct employee contact and interfacing with external vendors and internal resources to resolve complex benefits-related inquiries and coverage changes. Assist with reporting for regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and three to five years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of group benefit plans including medical, dental, life, and LTD insurance as well as voluntary benefits.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HR systems.
  • Strong analytical skills; team player; demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, experience with time-sensitive information, and strong customer service skills are required.
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize the workload, and demonstrate flexibility within a high-volume professional environment.
