About The Position

Are you a super user of Banner Student Information Systems or a talented higher education professional with experience implementing the Banner Student Information System modules? Are you interested in a career delivering innovative solutions that will transform Higher Ed, including enthusiasm for the variety of software solutions used to run the business of Higher Education? If you answered yes, then we should talk! Ellucian is seeking an experienced Senior Banner Student Consultant to join the North American Professional Services team to lead implementations of our integrated administrative solutions for colleges and universities. The Senior Banner Student Consultant will support all aspects related to the configuration, conversion, implementation, testing, and deployment of our Banner Student solution. The position will capitalize on your extensive understanding of the Banner Student Information System, specifically focused on these areas: Person Record Management, Catalog and Curriculum design, Registration, and Self-Service operations. Knowledge of additional Banner modules and Ellucian products is preferred. Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success. In this mission critical role, you will partner with our customers to help enable their transformation to cloud/SAAS solutions and ensure successful adoption of these solutions.

Requirements

Banner experience including implementation and deployment work on the modules noted above. (3-5+ years).
Willingness to grow knowledge across other Ellucian solutions.
Ability to communicate and present to work team stakeholders as well as project leaders both internally and externally.
Enabling delivery readiness, problem solving and root cause analysis through creativity, critical thinking and a strong work ethic.
Strong prioritization skills, able to manage activities based on business impact and time constraints.
Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Support and demonstration of Ellucian values.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to deliver services when required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with consortium or system-wide models, California, Texas, Florida or New York state higher education regulations would be a bonus.

Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to bridge the gap between the functional and technical aspects of Ellucian solutions and client’s business objectives.
Lead customers to embrace performance improvement, transformation and modernization and remediate issues that impede enabling customer greatness, executing all activities with precision and professionalism to ensure successful SaaS implementations.
Collaborates with various Professional Services teammates on process improvement, use and maintenance of services artifacts and the maturation and promotion of recommended practices.
Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, achievement of project goals, and utilization targets.
