About The Position

The Senior Backend Python Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and scaling cloud-native backend systems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role focuses on building high-performance APIs, managing distributed systems, and supporting AI/automation workflows in a secure and scalable cloud environment.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (mandatory)
Expertise in Python backend development
Experience in API design and backend architecture
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud deployment, monitoring, and scaling
Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices
Experience with AI workflows or agent-based systems

Responsibilities

Backend Development Design and develop scalable backend services using Python
Build and maintain APIs for high-performance applications
Develop and optimize database integrations (SQL/NoSQL)
Cloud & GCP Architecture Design and implement solutions using GCP-native services
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in cloud environments
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems
Distributed Systems & Microservices Architect and manage distributed systems and microservices
Optimize system performance and reliability
Handle large-scale data processing and integrations
AI & Automation Integration Deploy and manage agent-based systems and AI workflows
Collaborate with AI teams for backend integration
DevOps & CI/CD Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies
Manage version control and release processes
Ensure best practices for cloud operations and monitoring
Collaboration Work closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, and cross-functional teams
Participate in design discussions and technical decision-making
