We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our team to serve our Federal clients in performing audits related to financial statement audits and compliance. As a Senior Auditor, you will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff and work closely with senior leadership to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or business-related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in performing audits (financial, performance, recovery, transportation, and contract audits).
  • Knowledge of Standards (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and non-GAGAS).
  • Compliance assessments (financial statements, financial information, and internal controls)
  • Organizational performance improvement (accounting system design, financial statement preparation, budget development and accounting advisory services).
  • Experience as a team lead or capacity to serve in a team lead role.
  • Must currently maintain or have the ability to obtain a minimum of a secret clearance (US Citizenship required).

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or eligible to sit for CPA exam.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a fundamental understanding of project implementation and operations management leading practices.
  • Lead a team and supports tasks, including deliverable development, on project engagements.
  • Assist with design issues, lead client teams, provide analysis of project data, and assist with the development of appropriate deliverables.
  • Review completed work and direct revisions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the client and other team members, providing updates on the status of engagement assignments, sharing information, and identifying requisite revisions to the program and/or annual team goals.
