About The Position

This role is on hybrid (three times a week) in Charlotte, NC; Fort Washington, PA; or Detroit, MI. Hardworking auditors are constant learners. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent
  • A desire to creatively identify problems that potentially were not known to exist and provide solutions and/or recommendations.
  • Eye for business and understanding of the industry, company, and products to promote achievement of objectives and goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant 4-year degree or comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in Technology audit preferred
  • Relevant certification (CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA, etc.), is a plus.
  • Experience using Teammate+ or other Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Ally technology and cyber leaders, working cross-functionally while conducting individual audits.
  • Independently develop, implement, and document technology audit tests and issue validations in accordance with Audit Services policies and procedures.
  • Conduct work paper reviews as needed.
  • Provide support in walk throughs and project status meetings.
  • Assist in the drafting of PAIs (potential audit issues)
  • Your use of data literacy and analytics will provide consultation to management regarding emerging control practices across all areas of Ally technology.
  • Your proactive communication skills with management and peers will drive alignment to mitigate customer service issues before they occur.
  • Your technical knowledge, creativity and improved mentality will be crucial when performing projects as assigned to assist with analyzing Ally’s risk and control environment.
  • Your participation in Audit Transformation initiatives will be essential to the continued improvement to the enterprise and its continuing role within Ally business.
  • Serve as a role model, coach, and mentor to junior staff members.
