In this role, you will provide essential legal support to the Florida Commission on Human Relations by guiding the agency through the interpretation and application of Florida’s civil rights laws. You will help ensure that investigations, case reviews, and agency actions meet legal standards and reflect consistent, fair decision-making. You will also support the agency’s outreach and educational efforts by contributing to legal training and helping staff and the public understand their rights and responsibilities under the law. Your work will strengthen the Commission’s ability to protect individuals from unlawful discrimination and promote equal opportunity across the state. By ensuring legally sound decisions and offering clear, reliable guidance, you will help build trust in the agency’s enforcement process and contribute to fair treatment for all Floridians.
