ABOUT OUR TECHNOLOGY DISPUTES TEAM Our expanding domestic and international Technology Disputes practice works on large and complex commercial disputes involving allegations of intellectual property and trade secret theft, failure to create or implement software successfully, AI washing allegations, and IT service outsourcing disputes. These cases provide wide exposure to the technology industry and require the ability to review and comprehend large amounts of information to determine how the evidence may contribute to a theft or failure. We are currently seeking talented technologists to join our growing Technology Disputes team in the role of Senior Associate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Pre-Law, Accounting, Computer Science, Journalism or similar, from an accredited university or college
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in investigations, disputes work, journalism or similar is preferred
  • Ability to quickly read and digest large amounts of information
  • Able to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems
  • Able to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for PMP or similar certification
  • Proficiency in one or more coding languages such as SQL, C++, C#, Java, Python, HTML, etc. is a plus
  • Working proficiency in a second non-English language is a plus
  • The ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze evidence such as emails, contracts, software design documentation, etc
  • Assist with the preparation of memos and expert reports detailing opinions and findings
  • Assist with the preparation of rebuttal expert reports evaluating the conclusions of other experts
  • Communicate with clients and counsel
  • Prepare testifying experts for hearings, trials, and mediations
  • Manage the day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements
  • Review work of junior level staff
