About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Associate, Commercial Real Estate (“CRE”) (Senior Transaction Manager) to assume end-to-end accountability of transaction management of warehouse/repo facilities and asset funding deal management. In this role, you will: Track various legal agreements and commercial real estate due diligence items with bank counterparties. Assist senior team members with transaction oversight. Ensure receipt of all required approvals and documentation prior to closings. Identify and mitigate business and legal risks within compliance requirements. Interpret policies, procedures and compliance requirements. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers. Lead deal participants to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Capital Markets Document Negotiation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • VISA sponsorship is not available
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents. Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of commercial real estate lending products and loan lifecycles, credit agreements, loan funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows, etc.
  • Prior experience working with clients to collect and review commercial real estate loan and due diligence documentation ahead of closing large transactions
  • Proven track record of prioritizing and proactively identifying and resolving problems under tight deadlines and the ability to incorporate status updates in real time
  • Ability to operate in a challenging and rapidly changing environment with a desire to accept new assignments
  • Ability to learn new principles and dynamic systems quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and senior management across and within the lines of business with a keen attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong analytical capability
  • Adaptability to changing processes
  • Flexibility to accommodate for fluctuating deal flow volumes as needed, including working extra hours as client needs dictate
  • Legal background or project management experience
