Position Summary: As a Senior Associate within the R&D Tax Credit Practice, you will be working at the intersection of tax, engineering/technical innovation and business strategy — making a tangible impact on clients’ bottom-line and their ability to reinvest. This role is ideal for an individual who is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to work across diverse industries while building a specialized tax skill set. You will work collaboratively with R&D credit practice leaders, colleagues, and clients to build client relationships and be a trusted advisor in the R&D credit space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Political Science, or similar fields
  • 3-4 years of R&D tax credit experience
  • Experience leading client engagements, managing client relationships, and overseeing project work
  • Experience working with a variety of clients across various sizes and industries

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact on R&D tax credit engagements, supporting project execution and helping coordinate day-to-day engagement activities
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for new business and practice growth within the R&D credit practice
  • Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory and tax court developments to support internal guidance and technical discussions
  • Draft blogs and other external updates to communicate important developments to clients
  • Support the coaching and development of junior staff as the practice continues to expand
