Position Summary: As a Manager within the R&D Tax Credit Practice, you will be working at the intersection of tax, engineering/technical innovation and business strategy — making a tangible impact on clients’ bottom-line and their ability to reinvest. This role is ideal for an individual who is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to work across diverse industries while building a specialized tax skill set. You will work collaboratively with R&D credit practice leaders, colleagues, and clients to build client relationships and be a trusted advisor in the R&D credit space.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Political Science, or similar fields
• Minimum 5 years of R&D tax credit experience
• Experience leading client engagements, managing client relationships, and overseeing project work
• Experience working with a variety of clients across various sizes and industries

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for R&D tax credit engagements and manage the day-to-day responsibilities of various engagements
• Contribute to and help lead new business development and expansion opportunities for the R&D credit practice
• Stay informed of relevant regulatory and tax court developments to provide internal guidance to practice members
• Prepare blogs and other external updates for clients
• Coach, mentor, and develop new staff as the practice continues to expand
