About The Position

The highly selective Corporate Strategy group engages on a targeted set of ultra-high impact issues that drive the direction and performance of the company. The Strategy Operations team builds and executes the processes that allow Corporate Strategy to deliver great work, attract and develop fantastic talent, and foster a connected culture. As a Senior Associate Project Manager, you will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have an impact across Corporate Strategy. This role includes a mix of Chief of Staff functions and unique-to-Strategy programs that we believe deliver an engaged, supportive experience for our associates. You will support the creation and execution of several high visibility projects concurrently, and the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to strategically plan, communicate across the organization, influence as appropriate, and make decisions quickly and effectively. This individual will have a proven track record of managing projects in a dynamic, complex environment, with stakeholders at multiple levels. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-moving, ever-changing environment are essential to succeeding in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

Responsibilities

  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills to work with partners to understand business problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution. Includes clarifying and defining business needs, requirements and use cases.
  • Work autonomously on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on Corporate Strategy operations and culture. Effectively and independently identify and solve problems to improve current and future operations. Influence team and leadership as needed to ensure a timely, well-managed deliverable.
  • Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and/or escalate as needed. Design, develop, and manage processes in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
  • Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work. Remain highly organized and process-oriented with attention to detail, while establishing context and sound reasoning for data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure status reports are submitted regularly, accurate, appropriately detailed, and visible to all relevant stakeholders. Maintain key project documentation.
  • Proactively identify and remediate risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where necessary. Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent. Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.
  • Build relationships as an active and engaged member of a team that is working on delivering features to our associates and/or business partners.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Corporate Strategy and across the enterprise, particularly in chief of staff functions and HR, to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership that effectively drives delivery.
  • Must be able to influence and organize teams of individuals to effectively achieve goals.
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management and execution on large, cross-functional projects.
  • Possess comfort in spreadsheets, and with both quantitative and qualitative reporting.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and functional performers to capture, track and drive resolution of defects and enhancements. Manage program communications and reporting, leveraging central repository for archival of artifacts.
  • Demonstrate an ability to write clear, concise documentation and communications - create, drive and maintain community communications (e.g., newsletter, event communications). Partner with key stakeholders to plan and deliver company and strategy focused communications to internal and external audiences.
  • Plan and execute large-scale community events.
  • Partner closely with HR and talent development programs to support Corporate Strategy talent processes.
  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.
