The Senior Associate, Planning plays a crucial role in the development and day-to-day stewardship of media plans in accordance with the strategies developed. Requirements

  • 1+ years of media planning experience
  • Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology and third party market research tools such as Double Click DART, comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, MRI, Simmons, etc.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively cross functionally and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, internal teams, and other various outside vendors
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively multi-task competing priorities and projects through time management and organization
  • Proficient understanding of accounting principles, data analyzing, and market research
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities
  • Passion for entertainment marketplace and content (movies, streaming, TV, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Create integrated, holistic media plans across all channels, including TV, Digital, Outdoor, Radio, etc.
  • Manage the day-to-day implementation, optimization, and performance of campaign activities including authorizations, budgets, and the reconciliation process
  • Analyze and provide clients with research data as well as strategic analysis of campaigns
  • Evaluate media proposals and create recommendations that ensure marketing and media objectives are being met
  • Effectively negotiate digital proposals with partners
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members, clients, and publishers to ensure an effective creation and implementation of campaigns
  • Create competitive analysis of entertainment marketplace on a frequent basis with strategic insights included
  • Assist in financial and billing process; entering in contracts and tracking budgets on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Mentor Associates and provide opportunities for continued growth and advancement
  • Accommodate ad hoc responsibilities and evolving job duties
