About The Position

The Specialty Retail Brand Physical Retail Team is seeking a Senior Associate of Retail Operations Strategy to support the SRB's physical retail growth and long term operational efficiency. The Senior Associate of Retail Operational Strategy will be part of the Specialty Retail Brand stores team and help craft the operational excellence playbook to stand up and scale across all 9 stores, and implement in new store openings. The Senior Associate of Retail Sales Strategy will work with their leadership team to support in store operations that lead to increased efficiency, reduced labor hours, and overall 4-wall success. This role will work cross-functionally across the organization both with home office partners, store field support, and store teams to create executable strategies, provide coaching and maintain ongoing communication with the stores teams for the supported programs. This role reports to the GM of SRB stores, who is seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking, detail oriented collaborator who will drive execution and delivery of the customer and associate experience. As the retail portfolio grows you should expect to support an increasing number of physical retail stores and offerings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years physical retail experience required, with strong retail operations and selling knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with coaching and training to drive sales
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to launch initiatives
  • Ability to motivate and educate store leaders in order to drive results by building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Ability to execute strategy and provide feedback to bring best in class experience to life
  • Thrives in a high-growth, ambiguous environment with competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Drive the business by identifying and coaching to operational opportunity areas within the portfolio of physical retail stores
  • Develop & maintain effective training with the learning and development team that enhances the team's operational skills and improves store growth.
  • Support project initiatives by building materials, creating a rollout timeline, following up on adoption and tracking milestones.
  • Gather best practices from competitor analysis to improve our operational effectiveness
  • Share insights from the field to support the development of long term business strategies
  • Work cross functionally in partnership with internal planning, merch, and enablement partners to effectively align on the ideal operational flow
  • Maintain store KPIs BOH improvements
  • Develop long term replicable playbooks to support store operations during season flips and high volume promo periods
