About The Position

As a Merchant Strategy & Operations Senior Associate at DoorDash, you will lead the support experience for our merchants, owning both the strategy & execution of how we serve them once they're live on the platform. You'll be responsible for transforming support into a tech-first, scalable, and seamless experience that drives merchant satisfaction, retention & loyalty. Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or higher
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, banking, technology, or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience and experience leading a team are a plus
  • You have a proven track record of working on highly cross-functional initiatives, managing towards ambitious goals, and succeeding in a complex environments
  • You're an owner / self-starter - You have a bias towards action and are proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions, and areas to add value
  • You're naturally curious - You always look for ways to innovate and improve
  • You're a problem solver - You solve problems from first principles and resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking
  • You're analytical - You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel.
  • You're gritty - You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful
  • You're persuasive and a relationship-builder - You leverage clear, concise communications (both written and verbal) to influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions

  • Build the strategy for helping merchants succeed once they're live on DoorDash by providing fast and seamless solutions when merchants face issues, minimizing operational friction
