About The Position

As the Senior Associate on our marketplace affordability team you will work on initiatives that drive strategic growth. You will be responsible for creating personalized experience for consumers based on where they are in their lifecycle and offer relevant and targeted discounts to improve affordability based on their needs. You will have the opportunity to work on large and cross functional growth initiatives that drive billions of dollars of P&L impact. You will report to the Strategy & Operations Senior Manager on our Marketplace Affordability team. DoorDash is looking for top talent to play a pivotal role in our Consumer Affordability team.

Requirements

  • You put the consumer first. Solving problems from the ground up, you thrive on finding innovative solutions and avoid the “this is how it’s always been done” mindset.
  • You excel in both high-level strategy and detailed execution. You’re equally comfortable diving into the details when needed, but also know how to think long-term and inspire a team. No task is too small or beneath you.
  • You’re data-driven and analytical. You have a strong command of SQL and are skilled at conducting in-depth data analysis to uncover insights that drive key business and product decisions.
  • You are a self-starter with a bias toward action. You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. You bring structure and clarity to your work, and work effectively across teams, including Product, Tech, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Legal.
  • You have 3-4 years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, product, growth, or other related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead the development and optimization of personalized discount offerings to drive consumer engagement and growth across a large segment of DoorDash users.
  • Leverage consumer insights to craft a comprehensive, data-driven strategy that supports business objectives from start to finish.
  • Own the development of products that are used by millions of consumers every day, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse user base.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing to successfully execute strategic initiatives.
  • Help manage a multi-million dollar budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and drive significant P&L impact through targeted improvements.
