About The Position

As a member of dedicated client teams, you will operate in a hybrid client‑facing role, supporting Senior Consultants in delivering high‑quality investment services to clients while taking lead responsibility for a few client relationships. These services include: strategic setting of investment objectives, strategic asset allocation, investment management structures, manager selection, performance measurement and evaluation, investment manager monitoring, custodian selection, transition advice, statements of investment policy, and global research services. You will liaise closely with clients, fund managers, and other areas of the firm and take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of client relationships (supported by other consultants and investment analysts, as appropriate). You will also have involvement with technical working parties and support the provision of training to junior team members. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead consultant for certain client relationships, responsible for day‑to-day client engagement and service delivery
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, high-quality execution of projects
  • Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Consultants and Lead Relationships Managers
  • Deliver superior, consistent project management for assigned clients:
  • Draft statements of work and project plans involving multiple workflow streams and client teams
  • Serve as the day to day project lead, ensuring progress against established objectives, budgets, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
  • Serve as the primary, daily contact for assigned client relationships, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality client experience
  • Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the clients’ broader business issues
  • Provide a wide range of services to trustees, investment sub-committees and corporate sponsors
  • Contribute to the delivery of high‑quality investment advice, partnering with Senior Consultants on the design, implementation, and monitoring of investment strategies
  • Perform technical checks of work
  • Directly contribute to clients’ success through applying your technical expertise
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Contribute to the development and enhancements of new tools, approaches and best practices
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness by supporting effective scoping, resourcing, and delivery of client work
  • Support the generation of new business as part of the broader team
  • Contribute to the growth and retention of client relationships through high‑quality delivery and responsiveness
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Support the development of junior colleagues through mentorship, feedback, and coaching
