Serves as a liaison and key spokesperson to various committees and organizations. Responds to inquiries and assists in promoting the program. Assists with policy formulation, strategy development, and the management of daily operations. May collaborate with representatives from private, government, and international agencies. Conducts research, designs new initiatives, and writes publishable articles and papers. May supervise staff. ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS: Provide oversight and operational leadership for residency and fellowship programs in Pathology and Emergency Medicine, ensuring alignment with ACGME and institutional requirements. Administrative partner to Program Directors. Supervise and mentor Program Coordinators across both departments, supporting workflow management, training, and consistent administrative standards. Manage accreditation and compliance activities, duty hour reporting, surveys, and program complement changes. Coordinate key program functions such as recruitment (ERAS/NRMP), onboarding, scheduling, didactics, and semiannual trainee evaluations. Serve as primary administrative liaison for faculty, trainees, applicants, and hospital partners, supporting rotations, observerships, and visiting residents. Oversee program budgets, procurement, and administrative processes to ensure efficient and compliant program operations. Maintain and oversee data systems for schedules, evaluations, rosters, and required documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program and seven years of professional experience related to the program and previous supervisory and program/project management experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
