Requirements

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related business-oriented field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related business-oriented field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with Master’s) or three (3) years (with Bachelor’s) with private equity investment business knowledge and complex fund investing strategies in a multinational financial services company.
  • Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with Master’s) or three (3) years (with Bachelor’s) with performing comprehensive review and analysis of syndicate expenses, identifying dead deal allocation methodologies in accordance with divisional expense guidelines, and providing summarized reporting to divisional senior management.
  • Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with Master’s) or three (3) years (with Bachelor’s) with working on multiple, time sensitive syndicate related processes with competing deadlines in a multinational financial services company.
  • Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with Master’s) or three (3) years (with Bachelor’s) with effectively communicating with and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders in a multinational financial services company.
  • Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with Master’s) or three (3) years (with Bachelor’s) with proficiently utilizing all applications within Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau and Oracle applications (including PeopleSoft, Smart View).

Responsibilities

  • Manage expense allocations for thousands of syndicate accounts for timely and accurate fund Financial Statement reporting.
  • Work with Business COOs to determine proper allocation methodology across firm and funds for dead deals in accordance with SEC rules and divisional expense guidelines and maintain syndicate allocations in datalake.
  • Coordinate with Fund Managers to obtain sign-offs for syndicate receivable balance paydowns and Fund Accounting teams for cash settlements across hundreds of fund entities.
  • Perform quarterly accrual review to account firm’s share of syndicate expenses in firm P&L across expenses lines in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Responsible for reviewing and setting up syndicate accounts for new private equity funds and deals within Asset Wealth Management.
  • Assist deal teams with vendor set ups in accordance KYC guidance and invoice processing.
  • Review invoice allocations to ensure accurate fund/deal allocations.
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses and research for vendor, invoice and syndicate related requests.
  • Responsible for Federal Reserve CER reporting on syndicate receivable balance.
