Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS services, including but not limited to: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for AWS environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Developer).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with serverless technologies.
  • Experience with database administration.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of AWS resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
