Senior Associate - AWS Engineer

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with AWS services, including but not limited to: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Knowledge of security best practices for AWS environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Developer).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with serverless technologies.
- Experience with database administration.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of AWS resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
- Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
