About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Associate, Accounting to support its external financial reporting team. This position will play an important role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial reporting by supporting the financial analysis and consolidation process and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the data. The position involves preparing, consolidating adjusting entries and internal reports and providing analysis of the company’s financial results. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA with active license (preferred, not required)
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Workiva (WDesk) (preferred)
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mentality

  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly consolidated adjustment entries
  • Review and consolidate quarterly accounting schedules submitted by divisions
  • Perform reconciliation and analysis on intercompany accounts
  • Support the preparation and tie out of external financial documents, including SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K)
  • Support both internal and external audit requests
  • Provide ad hoc reports and analysis to Compliance, Tax, Financial Planning, and Investor Relations as requested
