Senior Assistant/Assistant County Attorney
About The Position
The Albemarle County Attorney’s Office is seeking an experienced attorney to join its dedicated team of legal professionals. The position offered will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- a degree from an accredited law school and Virginia State Bar membership
- at least six years’ experience as a practicing attorney, largely in the practice of local government law (or at least two years’ experience for the Assistant County Attorney position)
- experience or demonstrated competency in civil litigation
- Virginia residency is required upon employment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of economic development and/or conservation easements is preferred.
