About The Position
Tesla Laboratories is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Cyber Security, Intelligence Analysis, Financial Management, Facilities Engineering Services, and Program Management support to the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal government customers. We take pride in fostering a culture that values family, professional growth, and long-term career development—setting us apart from other services companies. · Proficiency in Florida Building Code and life safety code (NFPA 101). · Serve as the Architecture discipline subject matter expert and participate in planning, design, and construction oversight activities with multi-discipline project teams. · Perform architectural analysis to include Facility Requirements Analysis, Space Utilization Studies, Facility Reports, Real Property Master Plans, Installation Standards and Area Development Plans for construction and renovations. · Prepare instructions, monitor progress, review, and approve planning and design efforts in support of project requirements. · Support in development of scopes of work for design and construction projects. · Review and disposition designs, shop drawings, and other architectural product submittals prepared by Architectural and Engineering firms and construction contractors to ensure compliance with KSC and NASA standards and project requirements. · Support in the review and development of project construction contract documents including technical drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Florida Building Code and life safety code (NFPA 101).
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, and 12 years' experience in architecture.
