About The Position

Major Duties and Responsibilities Perform project delay analyses comparing current status versus baseline (during award); Prepare artifacts for contract negotiations; Review project status and schedule updates with WMATA field teams; Review contractor claims; Develop presentations; Review schedules; and Attend in-person meetings as directed. Background and Experience Required Graduation from an ABET accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture; A minimum of eight (8) years of architectural experience with emphasis on transit and rail industries; Mastery of building codes, design specifications, and recommended practices in architecture; and Registered license in Architecture in the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the District of Columbia Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in architecture; and Familiarity with WMATAs design criteria and standards 100% On-Site Position Location : WMATA New Carrollton Rail Yard located at 4100 Garden City Dr, New Carrollton, MD 20784 (1) on-call for a duration of 3 years Salary Range : $58.14 to $86.54 HR

Requirements

• Graduation from an ABET accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture
• A minimum of eight (8) years of architectural experience with emphasis on transit and rail industries

• Registered license in Architecture in the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the District of Columbia
