Microsoft’s Enterprise customers need tools to build agentic experiences over public and private knowledge. The Azure AI Knowledge team is developing Foundry IQ Knowledge bases to transform structured and unstructured enterprise data into knowledge. The team continuously develops and deploys new capabilities to handle complex queries requiring reasoning and reflection for high-quality results. Their work involves developing LLM prompts, agents, and query execution workflows with tight latency constraints, collecting/generating/filtering training and evaluation data, building on state-of-the-art techniques, and using AI coding patterns for experimentation. The role focuses on pushing the frontier of knowledge retrieval, requiring the individual to leverage multiple coding agents (autoresearch, claws, CLI systems, etc.) to explore new techniques and bring them to production at scale. The team collaborates with M365, Bing, and Microsoft Research and seeks passionate individuals interested in AI, Machine Learning, and data science to improve search for customers globally.
