Position Summary: We're looking to add a Senior Applications Engineer who will be responsible for working with our customers to help them create and manage unique solutions to their customization needs. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented with strong organizational skills, communication skills, and strong problem solving and multitasking skills. MAS is a very agile company made up of motivated individuals that have a lot of responsibility and work together day to day.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering Degree
5+ years of experience in commercial air handling industry sales and/or design
2D CAD and Microsoft Word/Excel
Strong communication and presentation skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Problem solving, resourcefulness, multi-tasking skills
Positive attitude and team-focused mentality

Responsibilities

Actively communicate with sales team and customers, maintaining customer relationships
Lead the technical design and custom solution decisions for complex air handling unit projects
Coordinate actively with Design Engineering Manager to facilitate and execute applications team training programs, team growth, and application team KPIs
Coordinate actively with team leaders to support sales & application’s pipeline
Maintain a thorough understanding and application of commercial HVAC components within the air handling unit system
Engage with sales team members to coordinate support of sales process, including accompanying sales on customer visits (can include up to 10% travel)
Engage with operations team members to coordinate development of processes
Engage with product & development team, to incorporate application of new solutions
Complete complex job approvals and lead kickoff meetings
