About The Position

The Application Developer – Senior (Web Services) position is responsible for all aspects in developing and maintaining a world class collection of services used by the Company’s bet processing system (AmTote Spectrum). This role maintains a large set of production solutions required to interface external systems to the bet processor. The position partners closely with the business and the Development team members (Spectrum) to ensure the system (Spectrum) remains competitive.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience programming and debugging skills in C#/.Net Framework environment
Minimum of 5 years' experience with Microsoft Visual Studio for development
Minimum of 5 years' experience using Azure Devops source control and work items
Web services, HTTP, TCP/IP programming using C# and the .NET Framework
Experience working in an Agile /SCRUM environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Wagering/gaming industry experience
Knowledgeable in horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or social marketplace industries
Communication technology (client/server) experience.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops and implements application software across a diverse technology stack.
Supports existing and new software applications.
Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis of software.
Participates in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Conducts Code reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
