About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Analyst with a passion for stock-picking through meticulous bottoms-up research. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex investment ideas into captivating, high-quality financial newsletters, serving to educate and inform our retail investor audience while driving sales growth.

Requirements

• 10-plus years previous experience in equity research, preferably as a portfolio manager or lead analyst
• A demonstrated track record of success picking stocks and generating alpha
• Familiarity with proper risk management techniques, i.e., position sizing and stop loss discipline
• A passion for the markets
• Superb communication skills, including writing, editing, and in-person interaction
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and willingness to go the extra mile
• Self-starter with loads of creativity, team spirit, versatility, and persistence
• Willingness to work with analysts and develop a cohesive team
• Team player with excellent organizational and project management skills, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to travel to visit companies/attend relevant conferences
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing

Responsibilities

• Stock-picking through bottoms up research.
• Translating investment ideas into attention-grabbing, high-quality financial newsletters that educate and inform retail investors and drive sales growth.
• Risk Management, Portfolio investment and security analysis, credit analysis.
• Valuation models of firm value, investment projects.
• Industry trend analysis and market intelligence information on new technologies.
• Using your creative talent and extensive knowledge of finance to motivate our readers.
• Leading a team challenging and vetting ideas to bring readers accurate, relevant, and cutting-edge content.
• Partnering with marketing, production, and analyst teams as you promote ideas to a wider audience.
