Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role on our finance team, bringing strong financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, and a desire to continue learning in a dynamic environment. The role requires demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation methods, and market analysis. This position collaborates frequently with senior leadership and executive management and requires confidence, professionalism, and exceptional communication skills. The Senior Analyst will also contribute directly to the preparation of quarterly earnings packages, Board materials, and other executive-level reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate finance, preferably within a REIT or hospitality/lodging environment.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency; strong command of valuation, underwriting, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing materials for senior executives, investor relations, or board-level audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret performance metrics and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and confidently.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational discipline.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when working on sensitive corporate matters.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analyses, including P&L performance, cash flow modeling, balance sheet insights, and portfolio-level analytics.
  • Support early-stage evaluations for acquisitions, dispositions, and investment partnerships by researching and modeling potential outcomes.
  • Evaluate asset performance across the lodging portfolio, identify key drivers, trends, and value‑creation opportunities.
  • Support strategic asset management initiatives by assessing ROI, operational performance, revenue trends, and market dynamics.
  • Prepare and refine recurring and ad hoc financial reports for executive management, including materials used for quarterly earnings calls and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Operations, and Revenue Management to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial data and business assumptions.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical resource to senior and executive leadership, offering clear insights and thoughtful recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial models, internal files, and reporting packages.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of FP&A tools, processes, and reporting frameworks.
