We are seeking a Cost Analyst Finance professional to support a high-visibility government portfolio. This role requires an individual who can manage Earned Value reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination while operating in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Hybrid: position will be open to telecommuting assignment with support to our office in Sterling, VA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and less than 2 years’ experience
  • Experience in communicating/presenting financial concepts, trends and variances to management
  • Excellent personal computer experience including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with modeling, creating formulas, and complex data mining using MS Office Excel
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain DOD Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Perform SAP Earned Value Reporting and utilize PMX to create and maintain EV artifacts
  • Provide weekly cost and labor reporting to the team
  • Monitor funding status and program costs to support billings as well as customer inquiries
  • Participate in the preparation of forecasts, budgets and schedules for all contract work and perform financial analyses (SRO, AOP, LRP, baselines)
  • Provide financial support for Ad Hoc requests and special projects in the greater Production portfolio
