About The Position

This position is responsible for development, integration, analysis, documentation and presentation of program plans and schedules for the duration of a contract. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Ability to Travel up to 5%
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year Experience with integrated schedules and network logic using Microsoft Project software
  • Experience with Resource-Loaded Scheduling
  • Ability to lead and train
  • 1 year of Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of MS Project

Responsibilities

  • Support awarded contracts, ensuring vertical and horizontal schedule integration and traceability
  • Update/maintenance across the program, while monitoring the development and maintenance of the critical path, network logic, and schedule forecasting
  • Work in parallel with the project cost analyst to ensure the cost and schedule are integrated
  • Apply knowledge of company policies, procedures, & guidelines, (including Rockwell Collins Government Systems System Description) to ensure plans and schedules are in compliance
  • Generate strawman IMP/IMS models working independently from a Request for Proposal, Statement of Work and Supplier Data Requirements List
  • Prepare reports and briefings to management and perform other business related functions as directed by the business lead and technical management
  • Develop an understanding of the Rockwell Collins Technically Consistent Process or similar engineering development life cycle, discern processes, and/or data that conflicts technically
  • Work with team members to expand the schedule (into a detailed program schedule) that includes program dependencies
  • Be able to develop an understanding of the Rockwell Collins or similar engineering development lifecycle; have the ability to discern processes or data that conflicts technically
  • Perform analysis on the IMS to convey trend and issues to program leadership. Review Critical Path to ensure it makes sense with solution the program is delivering to a customer
  • Candidate must possess the ability to perform schedule independent analysis, as well as being capable of performing scheduling process root cause analysis, defining and implementing corrective scheduling processes.
  • Ability to work in both a highly technical and team-based environment having high visibility and major time constraints
  • Ability to performing scheduling process root cause analysis, earned value analysis, and defining and implementing corrective action
