About The Position

As a Senior Analyst in the Managed Care group, you will manage Commercial and Medicare Part-D payer contract operations from system entry through to rebate adjudication and analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; subject area in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred
  • 2+ years of finance, analysis or related experience
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills for business partnering as well as the ability to present before varied audiences
  • Accountability for identifying problems and opportunities and making actionable recommendations; ability to research and respond to complex customer issues with reasoned judgment
  • Proven analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data and trends with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Outlook and MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Important competencies include teamwork, problem-solving, collaboration, time-management, and attention-to-detail
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and oversee expectations across different stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with life science applications. Model N, Revitas, SAP a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned accounts including system entry, validations, rebate payments, reporting, correspondence, and all other aspects of contract administration
  • Develop regular and ad-hoc analyses on multiple platforms, identify key performance indicators, evaluate business drivers and develop clear recommendations to provide management with meaningful reporting and updates
  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships to facilitate the exchange of information, provide support and address the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Understand interrelationships and support the improvement and maintenance of various systems, logs, policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others, articulating ideas and viewpoints, identifying and initiating projects, and driving the resolution of issues

Benefits

  • The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year.
  • The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
  • Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
  • Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
