About The Position

The HR Program Manager, People Analytics will serve as a key influencer of department stakeholders (e.g. COEs, Business Partners), IT, and business leaders as it relates to the strategy, design, and roadmap of workforce analytics. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage data and analysis to provide actionable insights required for strategic workforce planning and decision-making. This position will also identify and work on high-impact projects, requiring the development of solutions and/or insights through the use of advanced analytics. Essential Job Functions: Defines appropriate analytical approaches and methodologies to address key issues with the business. Serves as a SME examining and integrating multiple sources of complex data to identify data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and inform decision-making. Recommends and develops compelling, logically structured reports, dashboards, models, and presentations that tell the workforce story and inform the people and business strategy. Partners with COEs and business unit leaders to identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics to inform the design of programs, and measure their success against stated goals and objectives. Advises People Solutions and FINRA leadership on research-based evaluation of advanced human capital analytics that can be leveraged to optimize the use of data in decision-making. Serve as the People Solutions lead on the development and implementation of data visualization solutions. Demonstration of FINRA’s values. Collaboration, both in-person and virtually, in furtherance of FINRA’s mission of investor protection and market integrity. Essential Job Functions: Other Responsibilities: Leads or participates on cross-functional projects in support of team goals. Maintains in-depth understanding of all systems, programs, and policies within People Solutions. Stays abreast of relevant legislation, regulation, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Decision Science, Applied Mathematics or associated fields, with a minimum of 5 years position-specific experience.
  • Experience leading data analytics projects from idea generation through execution and assessment.
  • Expert HRIS knowledge; Workday preferred (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, etc.) and report development/writing skills.
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, and in-depth project and program management capabilities, with knowledge of progressive data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work independently, while operating in a fully collaborative environment, to influence and achieve desired outcomes, at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong familiarity with Human Resources/Human Capital programs and processes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including making presentations to senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred, and Analytics certification(s) a plus.
