About The Position

We are seeking individuals to join as a Senior Analyst for the FP&A team to develop, refine, and optimize financial analysis and reporting to help the Company make informed and intelligent decisions about energy storage project development, investment and financing opportunities. The Senior Analyst will report to the company’s Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, demonstrated understanding of the renewable energy sector is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline is required. Master’s degree in finance, business or a related field is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills required (complex formulas, pivot tables, scenario modeling, VBA), experience with complex, renewable financial models is strongly desired.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards containing large, complex datasets is required.
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting methods, and familiarity with accounting software preferred.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of curiosity, willingness to learn, excellent team player.
  • Ability to manage various data sources into organized financial reports.
  • Ability to perform all aspects of work with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial results to all levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and consolidating the Company’s budget, forecast, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Play a key role in submitting monthly financial reporting to senior management in a timely fashion with focus on accuracy.
  • Support the Company’s annual planning process.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of monthly financial results and related variance analysis – including, but not limited to, portfolio performance, firm financial performance, liquidity planning, corporate cost tracking, capital expense reporting.
  • Support development, maintenance, and updates to the corporate model.
  • Support implementation of FP&A reporting tools to enhance reporting and planning capabilities and efficiencies.
  • Play an active role in liaising cross-functionally with Business Development, EPC, Asset Management, Project Finance and Accounting teams to update FP&A models and reports.
  • Critically analyze project model results, evaluate and make recommendations to optimize project and investment performance, including with respect to optimizing financial structure, revenue generation, and cost competitiveness.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as necessary.
