About The Position

The Financial Analyst for the Brooks Brothers FP&A team possesses strong analytical skills and is highly organized and detail oriented. The analyst role is primarily responsible for supporting the development of the annual budget and monthly forecast, as well preparing monthly reporting for Catalyst enterprise finance. The department is focused on anticipating the needs of and supporting business partners throughout all levels of the organization, by providing operating insight and highlighting key business drivers to achieve desired results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and review of the annual budget with business partners
  • Detailed actual to plan/forecast variance analysis, as well as anticipate forecast adjustments, in partnership with budget owners
  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance and continuous improvement of various operational and management reports that provide financial and operating insight to the users/leaders and highlight key drivers of performance
  • Anticipate needs of/support business partners, which may lead to ad-hoc assignments and special projects
  • Capital project reporting
  • Detailed sales reporting
  • Support transition to new enterprise reporting system (OneStream) and general ledger (Oracle)
  • Establish and maintain strong business partnerships throughout the organization
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently, as the situation demands
