We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst. This role will provide data driven financial analysis and support the Amerock Executive leadership and others throughout the Amerock organization. Location: This is a Hybrid role based out of our Amerock office in Charlotte/Huntersville NC, in accordance with the Amerock Flex schedule; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office / Monday and Friday remote.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
At least 7+ years in the finance field with FP&A experience preferable.
Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft O365 (especially Excel).
Strong analytical and modeling skills, and comfortable combining multiple data sources.
Effective and professional communicator that is comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership.
Ability to work in a team environment of hard-working colleagues.
Effectively self-manage schedule and competing priorities from multiple internal customers/projects.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive annual budget process in partnership with key partners to develop an accurate, executable target while communicating key assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities.
Develop monthly forecasts by monitoring changes in business trends / prior assumptions and analyze financial / KPI variances versus budget and prior periods.
Provide clear margin analysis at the customer, product, and channel level. Understanding of components driving margin (volume, price, and cost).
Perform complex financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and support data‑driven decision‑making by the business leaders and the finance management team.
Prepare executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and presentations to support month end reporting and provide clear and actionable insights related to P&L results (sales, margin, and opex) and working capital.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align financial outcomes with operational plans and help identify opportunities to manage expenses appropriately with sales.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, customer profitability, pricing, and strategic initiatives to support a rapidly changing business environment.
Support any adhoc data needs for business leaders and finance leaders.
