WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst who goes beyond delivering accurate month-end reporting to serve as a thought partner as Nike continues to modernize its Finance data, reporting, and insight capabilities. This role will play a key part in shortening time to insight, improving data quality, and enabling scalable, compliant reporting solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded finance professional with a strong foundation in Financial Planning & Analysis and financial reporting, paired with an enterprise mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. This person is a strong communicator and capable of translating complex financial and technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. Success in this role requires comfort operating in a dynamic, matrixed, global environment, balancing speed with rigor, and ensuring reporting solutions meet both business needs and Nike’s control, compliance, and governance standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 3–4 years of experience in Financial Reporting, FP&A, or a related finance role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, key performance metrics, and financial drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, design, and implement process improvements within reporting or close cycles
  • Proven ability to communicate technical and financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Experience operating within established finance policies, governance standards, and reporting controls
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in environments with evolving systems, processes, and requirements

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience supporting finance teams in a global, matrixed organization
  • Exposure to analytics, reporting, and financial systems such as SAP Analysis for Office, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and/or SQL
  • Experience supporting reporting used for executive, external, or regulatory-facing purposes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key reporting partner to Global FP&A and External Reporting teams, delivering timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial reporting
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and ad hoc reporting needs with a strong focus on data quality, consistency, and compliance with Nike finance standards
  • Partner with stakeholders to design and evolve standardized, scalable reporting solutions that improve clarity, usability, and speed to insight
  • Identify opportunities to automate and modernize reporting processes while maintaining appropriate controls and documentation
  • Ensure reporting logic, definitions, and methodologies are clearly documented and aligned across teams
  • Support the adoption of new tools, technologies, and data products that advance Finance Data & Analytics modernization at Nike
  • Act as a role model for balancing innovation with rigor—ensuring new solutions meet both business needs and compliance expectations
