About The Position

Execute the firm’s data strategy to support investment, client, and operational objectives Champion data quality standards and best practices to ensure integrity, accuracy, consistency, and security Partner with fund administrators to maintain real-time, accurate data within the Portfolio Management System Lead efforts to centralize and automate data aggregation from administrators, custodians, and third-party providers Collaborate with technology teams to build automation tools and application interfaces that streamline data ingestion and transformation Support the development of client reporting, investment dashboards, and operational analytics Maintain reconciliation, data lineage, and change management controls to mitigate operational risk Review valuations, commitments, capital calls, and distributions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting or operations experience within a hedge fund, private equity or venture capital firm, or fund administrator
  • Experience using Addepar or a similar portfolio management accounting system
  • Strong understanding of private fund subscription and redemption processes
  • Knowledge of net asset value, unfunded commitments, internal rate of return, and time-weighted return calculations
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Experience using Structured Query Language, Snowflake, or a similar data warehouse
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background
