About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Compensation and Benefits supports the Total Rewards function by providing analytical and program support across compensation and benefits. This role helps maintain competitive and equitable pay practices, supports benefits analysis and communications, and contributes to market benchmarking and job evaluation activities. The Senior Analyst also provides significant day-to-day operational support for the 401(k) plan, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure accurate administration and strong employee experience.

  • 3+ years of experience supporting compensation, benefits, HR analytics, payroll/HR operations, and/or retirement plan support.
  • Experience with retirement plan administration support (401(k) preferred), including reconciliations, issue resolution, and working with vendors/recordkeepers.
  • Proficiency with Excel (lookups, pivots, structured tables) and comfort working across multiple data sources.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly to employees and partners.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables with competing deadlines in a confidential environment
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy
  • Strong process discipline, including documentation standards and continuous improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the 401(k) plan, including monitoring workflows and ensuring timely , accurate processing of contributions, changes, and related transactions.
  • Partner with payroll, HRIS, and external vendors/recordkeepers to support accurate data exchange, reconciliations, and resolution of participant-level issues.
  • Support required reporting and plan operations activities, including routine audits, data validation, and documentation of corrections as needed.
  • Respond to employee questions and issues related to 401(k) plan participation, contributions, eligibility, and plan processes, escalating complex items appropriately.
  • Maintain organized plan documentation, process steps, and administrative controls to support consistency, auditability, and service quality.
  • Support compensation and benefits assessments, including benchmarking of wages, health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, paid leave, and related work practices.
  • Compile and analyze HR and market data from multiple sources (HRIS, payroll, vendor data, surveys, external databases) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare compensation analyses such as market pricing comparisons, pay equity support analyses, compa -ratio summaries, and internal alignment reviews.
  • Support salary structure and job evaluation processes by assisting with job documentation, job matching, and maintaining consistent job architecture records.
  • Participate in compensation survey submissions and audits, including job matching documentation, data validation, and reconciliation of survey inputs/outputs.
  • Support benefits analysis, including benchmarking, utilization and cost impact summaries, and preparation of decision materials for program design discussions.
  • Develop clear reporting and stakeholder materials (tables, summaries, slides, memos) that translate findings into understandable insights.
  • Maintain organized documentation and repeatable analysis templates to improve efficiency, consistency, and auditability of Total Rewards work.
  • Apply strong confidentiality and data stewardship practices when working with sensitive compensation and benefits information.
