The Opportunity This role is based in Maple Grove, MN or St. Paul, MN within the Medical Devices R&D Solutions team. As a Senior Analyst, Business Systems, you will support and enhance critical IT systems while leading technical projects that enable compliant, high‑quality R&D operations. You’ll partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver system improvements in a regulated, fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years of experience leading IT projects or programs from initiation through closure
  • Demonstrated ownership of project planning, requirements gathering, risk management, change control, and status reporting
  • Experience influencing cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment without direct authority
  • Proven ability to present project status, risks, and recommendations to business and IT leadership
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives in a geographically distributed organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow (incidents, requests, changes)
  • Knowledge of Windows hardware, operating systems, and associated infrastructure
  • Ability to meet on‑site attendance expectations per current policy

Nice To Haves

  • 2–4+ years of business process analysis experience defining system configuration requirements
  • Experience conducting feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses to inform project decisions
  • Experience mapping current‑state and future‑state processes and identifying system or process gaps
  • Hands‑on experience configuring, maintaining, or integrating COTS applications
  • Experience with quality or validated IT systems, Abbott BTS SLC, ProcessX, or Windchill
  • Familiarity with facility, security, or building management systems (e.g., Niagara, WebCtrl, UHL, Genetec, Envoy, PassagePoint)
  • 1–3+ years supporting IT projects tied to facilities, infrastructure, lab/plant systems, or OT platforms
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Evergreen initiatives in a large enterprise environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects including deployments, upgrades, remediation, and Microsoft Evergreen initiatives
  • Manage project roadmaps, timelines, risks, budgets, and status reporting
  • Provide technical project management across application and infrastructure environments
  • Support application administration, configuration, access management, and ServiceNow incident/request/change management
  • Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements
  • Analyze, configure, test, and implement system enhancements following change‑control processes
  • Support system validation activities and ensure compliance with quality, corporate, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain application documentation and licensing frameworks (e.g., FLEXlm)
  • Deliver technical expertise for application implementations and cross‑functional initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with business partners and IT teams to drive alignment and timely decision‑making
  • Influence cross‑functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
