Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• 6-10+ years of professional experience in AI/ML solutions development.
• Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) AI assurance and deployment environments.
• Strong Python skills with experience in developing AI/ML applications.
• Direct experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Proven ability to build and deploy MLOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of vector databases and retrieval-based architectures.
• Experience with fine-tuning and evaluating language models.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and pipelines that align with mission and performance objectives.
• Build, train, and fine-tune models using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Develop and operationalize MLOps pipelines using tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or DVC.
• Implement and optimize vector databases and retrieval architectures.
• Write clean, efficient Python code for data ingestion and model inference.
• Experiment with fine-tuning and optimization of language models.
• Contribute to agent-based applications using modern AI frameworks.
• Integrate AI services into production systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models are production-ready.
• Participate in peer reviews and document work for reproducibility.
