Senior AI Developer
About The Position
We’re hiring a Senior AI Developer to build and scale intelligent, cloud-native applications that embed AI directly into core business workflows. You’ll operate at the intersection of full-stack engineering and applied AI—owning everything from system design to production deployment. This role is hands-on and impact-driven: integrating LLMs, building RAG pipelines, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions using C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure. You’ll work closely with product and engineering leaders to turn complex problems into scalable, real-world AI systems. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based from either Houston or Dallas, TX.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus at least 10 years of software development experience, or demonstrated equivalent experience and education
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET, APIs, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred)
- Deep experience with SQL Server (data modeling, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud (deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs and RAG architectures
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
- Background in AI/ML concepts (embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering) or production AI systems
Responsibilities
- Build and scale full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, REST APIs, and SQL Server
- Design and implement AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and LLM integrations
- Leverage Azure AI services (Semantic Kernel, Kernel Memory, AI Foundry) to deliver intelligent features
- Deploy and optimize cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, security, and cost
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable systems
- Mentor engineers and drive best practices in architecture, code quality, and delivery
