About The Position

CHS, Inc. is hiring a Senior Agronomy Business Operations Specialist for Crop Nutrients to drive an exceptional customer experience by serving as the central connection point between customers, Account Managers, and Supply and Logistics teams, ensuring accurate, efficient execution across the full life cycle of fertilizer contracts and orders. This role works closely with sales and internal operations to uphold CHS’s service standards and strengthen operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Support and Business Administration
  • High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience using enterprise resource planning systems (ERP)
  • Lean Certification
  • Agriculture and/or Energy industry experience
  • Leading or participating in process improvement projects
  • Experience monitoring and responding to metrics, resulting in a path of continual improvement
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to work effectively in multiple information systems and ERP systems
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to follow through with tasks/projects to successful completion
  • Building collaborative relationships, customer orientation, analytical thinking, initiative/independence, flexibility/adaptability
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet business demands
  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships through providing excellent service.
  • Execute and manage daily responsibilities with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, including but not limited to:
  • Contract management (entry, maintenance, reconciliation, closure)
  • Handle internal and external customer requests via phone or email
  • Timely and accurate customer invoicing
  • Effective collaboration with team members
  • Inventory management within the ERP system
  • Partnership with Sales, Supply, Logistics, and CHS Agronomy departments
  • Prompt resolution of billing issues
  • Occasional evening/weekend coverage during peak seasons (typically spring and fall)
  • Provide back-up coverage for teammates
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
