Senior Agile Project Manager (Public Trust)
About The Position
Praescient Analytics is seeking a highly experienced Agile Project Manager to support a large-scale federal data modernization and analytics program. This role provides delivery leadership across complex, cross-functional teams implementing cloud-native data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI/ML capabilities in a regulated government environment. The Agile Project Manager acts as a servant leader and delivery integrator , ensuring alignment between mission stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership. The role emphasizes adaptive planning, transparency, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery while supporting modern Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe . This position is critical to accelerating mission outcomes, improving delivery maturity, and ensuring program execution meets federal performance, auditability, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional project or program management experience with a government agency.
- Minimum of 3 years applying Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing technology-driven initiatives, preferably involving data, analytics, or cloud platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks, ceremonies, metrics, and delivery best practices.
- Proven ability to balance Agile flexibility with the structure and documentation required in federal programs.
- Proficiency with Agile planning and tracking tools such as Azure Boards, MS Planner, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience producing delivery dashboards and executive-level status reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership capabilities.
- Minimum of a Public Trust ( U.S. Citizenship is Required)
Nice To Haves
- Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent .
- Experience supporting data analytics, AI/ML, or cloud modernization programs , preferably in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for enterprise-level coordination.
- Experience working within federal or other regulated environments , including audit, compliance, and governance requirements.
