As a Senior Agile Product Owner , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Workplace Services platforms, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that empower our clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a technology related field.
  • 7-9+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments, with a proven track record of delivering digital products.
  • SAFe certified
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading Agile teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, and translate them into actionable work for development teams.
  • Strong experience in backlog management, user story creation, and prioritization based on business value.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into user stories and serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, development, QA, and operations.
  • Proven ability to review and validate sprint deliverables, ensuring alignment with product goals and quality standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and goals, translating them into actionable product roadmaps that align with Schwab's business and technical objectives.
  • Backlog Management : Own, groom, and prioritize the product backlog—including creation of user stories and Epics—to ensure the team focuses on delivering the highest value items.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between customers, business stakeholders, and the development team, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Development Collaboration: Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and ensure delivered features meet expectations and quality standards.
  • Acceptance & Validation: Review and accept completed work (sprint increments) to ensure quality and alignment with the product vision and goals.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to make decisions and negotiate compromises.
  • Communicate effectively at both executive and team levels, mediating and resolving conflicts as needed.
