As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our agency. You will analyze agent performance, customer interactions, call and chat transcripts, and downstream sales outcomes to uncover opportunities that elevate both agent productivity and customer experience. You’ll partner closely with agency leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to guide experimentation, refine workflows, and develop insights that drive measurable improvements in conversion and policy sales. The ideal candidate brings deep analytical rigor, strong communication skills, and experience translating complex operational and customer-interaction data into clear, actionable insights that accelerate agency performance. Location: While we are open to remote work across the contingent US, we are still in the process of establishing our company to support work in all states. Our employees can choose to work remotely in the U.S. Join us in our Austin, Texas office, or opt for a hybrid setup. Requirements

  • As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks who have a strong sense of ownership, great communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • 5+ years of professional (or comparable) analyst experience
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL experience, with Python knowledge being a plus
  • Experience with BI platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Hex)
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving, with a history of delivering data-driven solutions
  • Familiarity with agency analytics and experimentation methodologies
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, including familiarity with insurance products and related data analysis is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a B2C technology company
  • Some exposure to data tools and technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Hex, BigQuery, etc.
  • Some experience or interest in Data Science modeling techniques (e.g. regression, classification, forecasting)
  • Programming experience in Python or R

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities related to agent performance, customer interactions, and sales outcomes.
  • Partner with agency leaders, enablement teams, and engineers to define data requirements that support improvements in agent workflows and customer experience.
  • Work closely with agency teams to design, run, and analyze experiments, ensuring methodological rigor and actionable results.
  • Deliver optimization insights for ongoing initiatives through ad-hoc analysis and intuitive performance dashboards.
  • Monitor key agency metrics, KPIs, and customer behavior trends to proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical teams, translating complex data into understandable and actionable stories.
