Requirements

  • Only US Citizens, Green card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in an Account Management, Sales, Customer Service, or Technical position for higher technical products and markets.
  • Travel up to 20% throughout North America and worldwide to support customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Aerospace parts and assemblies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather customer and broad market intelligence to develop and implement short-term and long-term business strategies.
  • Negotiate appropriate contracts to solidify profitable growth.
  • Report and recognize developing price trends by market.
  • Develop and maintain multi-tiered personal customer relationships and take steps to improve personal relationships between PPG Aerospace management and customer management.
  • Develop forecasts for customers and products and advise management of new or changed conditions.
  • Use experience and technical details of products to support customer application processes following company recommendations or industry standards.
  • Work with major Aerospace OEMs to identify technology solutions and manage the commercialization of these solutions through qualification and production launch.
  • Become an expert at PPG Selling Machine and use tools and practices to grow the business to support growth initiatives.
