The City of Dallas is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as the Senior Administrator – Civil Service Recruitment and Assessment within the Civil Service Department. This senior-level leader will also oversee the daily operations of Talent Central - the City’s centralized recruitment hub serving civil service, non-civil service, police, and fire hiring functions. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing the City’s commitment to a unified, efficient, and accessible recruitment experience. The Senior Administrator will lead efforts to standardize and streamline hiring practices, strengthen partnerships with community and educational institutions, and ensure compliance with civil service policies and procedures. Acting as a cross-functional liaison, this role will drive enterprise-wide recruitment strategies, promote public service career pathways, and champion successful hiring outcomes. Reporting to the Civil Service Board Secretary and Director, this position demands productive collaboration, strategic foresight, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to innovation and inclusion in public sector hiring.
