The Senior Administrative Assistant is a highly professional and disciplined individual dedicated to supporting the Business Unit Risk Executive for Technology, Data and Operations with exceptional administrative expertise. Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent education and related training
  • Seven years of progressively more complex clerical experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including strong knowledge of spelling and grammar), organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and math skills
  • Exhibited ability to work independently
  • Ability to deal with complex situations which require sound judgment
  • Ability to operate office equipment (e.g. copier, fax)
  • Ability to endure light physical labor
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
  • Completion of certifications that are specific to industry

Responsibilities

  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the senior executive, including managing correspondence, preparing documents, and coordinating communications.
  • Proactive Calendar Management: Independently oversee complex calendars, schedule meetings, and anticipate potential conflicts to ensure efficient time allocation and seamless daily operations.
  • Care and Anticipation: Proactively identify the executive’s needs, preferences, and priorities to deliver tailored support, from travel arrangements to meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Professionalism and Discipline: Uphold a high level of professionalism in all interactions, exercising discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
  • Resourcefulness: Address challenges with creativity and initiative, leveraging available resources to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Positive Attitude: Create a welcoming and constructive environment by maintaining an optimistic outlook and fostering teamwork among colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Independent Work: Operate with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Coordination and Organization: Organize events, meetings, and projects, ensuring all logistics are executed flawlessly and deadlines are met.

  • All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
