About The Position

In the role of Senior Administrative Assistant – Human Resources, you will be responsible for providing senior general, HR-related administrative support to the RMMC Plant, located in Golden, CO. Specifically, some of the key responsibilities will include compilation and production of complex information for inclusion in reports or presentations and the creation of charts, graphs or tables. This position will also receive and respond to routine and high-level correspondence. This position reports to the Sr. HR Business Partner Manager and works closely with a variety of operational business units.

Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, or a Bachelor’s Degree in lieu of experience
  • You have the ability to exercise independent judgement and employ basic reasoning skills
  • Capability to analyze complex information requests and determining complex trends
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to create and modify SharePoint Sites
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive data

Nice To Haves

  • Kronos timekeeping system experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for complex office activities
  • Responsible for high-level correspondence through verbal, e-mail, telephone, and mail correspondence
  • Compile and analyze complex information
  • Produce charts, tables and presentation materials
  • Aid in the preparation and filing of key records, statistics and reports
  • Administer programs, projects or other processes specific to operating unit served
  • Maintains workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and developing reporting procedures.
  • Resolves problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Creates and revises procedures and updates systems by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping, forms control, budgetary oversight and personnel change.
  • Sharing of best practices with other administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Work with internal partners to ensure accurate Leave Of Absence (LOA) and return to work processing.
