Requirements

  • You have 3+ years experience performing business accounting and data analysis with QuickBooks
  • You nerd out on strategic financial planning
  • You’ve worked at a small company and thrive on the diverse workload it provides. You welcome the wider business perspectives you gain while making a broader impact in a small organization. Your ability to stay organized in a versatile role is highly valuable.
  • You’re a “leave it to me” kind of person, entrepreneurial in nature. You’re not looking to follow the blueprint of a well oiled machine. You’re comfortable asking for clarification if needed and then you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to find new ways to increase efficiency, profit and productivity. Determined, self-reliant, and smart. Responsibilities

  • Simplify and refine finance and accounting procedures.
  • Improve clarity and efficiency in financial tracking and reporting using QuickBooks.
  • Guide financial planning and budget creation to allocate resources effectively.
  • Boost profits by analyzing profit and loss statements to find areas for improvement.
  • Provide clear financial insights to help everyone make informed decisions.
  • Maintain tight control over budgets, records, and expenses for financial integrity.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and secure credit through new vendor partnerships.
  • Speed up cash flow with prompt invoicing to optimize revenue.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with vendors and manage accounts payable efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and punctual payroll processing for employees.
  • Project cost tracking, completion status, overview and financial snapshots.
  • Secure new clients through outside sales.
  • Assist in building thorough estimates for new projects.
  • Help a local small business grow and develop.
  • Welcome new team members by facilitating employee onboarding, including insurance enrollment and obtaining W-9s.
  • Enable market expansion by promptly obtaining necessary business licenses
  • Speed up project timelines by quickly securing required permits.
  • Ensure clear and compliant agreements by thoroughly reviewing and completing contract templates
